who we are
26 years ago, Sutton Swim School started with five students and a simple belief: every child deserves to feel at home in the water.
Within six months, over 250 swimmers were learning in that same backyard pool in Cupertino. We outgrew it fast. We found an old Apple building down the street, began digging, and built our first real facility. It's where we hired and trained a generation of instructors passionate about spreading the joy of swimming.
After 12 years we were ready to grow again. We found a spot in Campbell we loved and built from scratch, designing the building, the pool, and installing the best filtration system we could find. That facility has been the heart of the South Bay swim community ever since.

Swimming is a life skill. We treat it like one.
Fundamentals taught the right way from the start. Real water safety skills at every level. And a love of the water that lasts long after the lessons end.
That approach is why our graduates thrive on competitive teams. It's why families trust us with their youngest swimmers. And it's why, after 26 years and tens of thousands of swimmers, we're still as committed to getting it right as we were on day one.
Every swimmer who walks through our doors is someone's whole world. We never forget that.
